last weekend, daddy started making a funny noise hoping that baby would learn. and of course, baby quickly picked up on it. oh, what other bad habits will she pick up on?! here she is, motorboating.

so miss b is all over the place and getting into EVERYTHING. when it's too quiet, i definitely know she's up to something. the other day she rolled out of the room in less than thirty seconds. i was amazed! and later that day, she managed to (gasp!) roll off the bed. (i know, i'm a terrible mother. but so thankful that, other than a little shock, she is perfectly fine)

so the other day after bathtime, i laid her on the floor. and within a minutes time, this is where i found her! sneaky little girly!

little brooke's milestones this week?

1. she officially has TWO teeth (the front right one cut through last week and the 2nd is cutting though as we speak)

and 2) she is sleeping through the entire night! seriously. bath and bed by 8 and she sleeps til between 7:30-9:30. YIPPEEEEE!!

little B has become full of high pitched shrieks and giggles and laughs and boy, do we love it! there is nothing as precious as seeing your little girl full of love, laughter and joy. especially when it's because of you! (or in this case, her daddy!) i just love these two and their amazing bond!

vegas trip #2

boy am i a lucky little girl. this past weekend, mommy & daddy packed me up and took me to vegas to see two of mommy's very good friends get married. not even six months old and two trips to vegas? yea! mommy and daddy were also super stoked to have babysitters on hand so that they could gamble and party the night away. ok maybe not party the night away, but at least go have some fun while i slept. how come all the fun happens AFTER it's my bed time. BOO!

this past weekend, my mommy, daddy and gma got motivated to go walking and in the midst of one of our laps around the park, mommy decided it would be ok to let me try my hands out on the swings. who was she kidding? i LOVED them!

activity fun

mommy had been going back and forth on whether i really needed an activity center

so i gave her this face:

and she couldn't resist.

she found a brand new one for more than half off the regular price and gma said, i'll buy it the babygirl needs it! so mommy said ok, daddy put it together. and for the first few weeks, it just collected dust, because i really wasn't too interested...until about a week ago.

now, it's one of my favorite things to do...when i'm not scooting around and/or rolling from one side of the living room to the other.

well, the title (and pictures) of the blog give the gist of it...i have a very stubborn little girl.

baby signing time

mommy did some research and decided that she wanted to start teaching me sign language...so she asked around and after a few recommendations she decided that baby signing time was the way to go for me. she bought a full set and has been having me watch the dvds every day and learning with me. for the time being, i like to just sit and laugh at how silly my mommy looks signing...but she's sure that in a few months she'll get some results. we'll see if i decide to cooperate or not! ;)

small update

things are busy but not to worry, we are still around! we officially moved out of our apartment this past weekend and have officially started the house hunt. and what an intense/interesting/exciting experience it is!! we are also busy planning vegas trip #2, a possible trip up north and gearing up for a HOT summer.

can you believe miss b is five months old? or that we've been living in CA for a year now? crazy!
