as many of you know, little miss B cut her first two teeth in mid-june. what a milestone that was. but never did i prepare for five others to start making their way down in the past two weeks! that's right, she cut her two top front teeth and is now working on her bottom

mother/daughter bond

there's something so pure and precious about a mother and her baby and the bond that they share. it is amazing. i am grateful for the opportunity i have had to spend my days taking care of my little B. i can't imagine life being any different.

6 month pictures

mommy decided it was time to get some good professional pictures of me so mommy's friend Bob over at RK Photography took the time to photograph daddy, mommy and of course, me this past weekend. let's just say, i didn't cooperate the way mommy had hoped for but the pictures came out great nonetheless. aren't i getting big??

six months

my oh my, my little girl is six months old. where has the time gone? each day is truly an adventure and i am so blessed to be able to stay home with her every day and watch every new milestone develop. the past 6 months has been such a complete joy and i truly feel blessed. here's a little look at what she's up to at 6 months:

- per her six month appt, she is 28 in long (97+ percentile), 17.9 lbs (90 percentile) and her head is 43.5 cm around!

- she has her two bottom teeth (which she likes to bite with) and her top left tooth is now coming on down

- she LOVES the water. whether it be bath time with gma or time spent in her kiddie pool, she LOVES the water. to drink it, to splash in it, her daddy calls her his little fishy.

- she is officially EVERYWHERE! she rolls and does a weird body pull to get whatever it is she wants (and boy when she wants something, does she go for it!) and of course, she no longer has any interest in ANY of her toys, but instead in paper, wires and everything that are a NO-NO!

and if it's too quiet, i definitely know she's into something she is NOT supposed to be!

here she is the other day. apparently, she thinks mommy's bra is a hat.

- we came to realize that she is allergic to rice cereal! :( and has officially started eating oatmeal and tasting EVERYTHING. the scariest part? the doctor says it's time feed her until she gets full, and last night she ate over 6 tablespoons of oatmeal and showed no intention of getting full any time soon! YIKES! this girl will not fill up!

- she LOVES animals. especially dogs. we're expecting some torture for my mom's poor chihuahua kiki, as brooke already has shown interest in pulling her little tail :) and we adventured out to the local horse stables and little B loved all the horses and ponies. now it's time to get gma and papa to utilize there stables for a pony for brookie! ;)

i'm gonna get you kiki!

- she definitely has a little attitude and knows that she is the princess. and if she doesn't wanna do something, boy does she let you know! (yes, my six month old throws mini temper tantrums) AND if you don't pay the amount of attention she wants to her, she snubs you. NO joke. the day i was busy being bridesmaid in my good friend's wedding, i barely had time to snuggle, hold and feed her and later when i came to get hugs and kisses, she would have NOTHING to do with me, turning her head and ignoring me whenever i tried talking to her. she definitely has her own personality!

i could go on and on, obviously. but all in all, she's amazing and every day brings new laughs and adventures. life is amazing and we honestly don't remember life without her in.
