Bath Toy Bags

A few months ago, when I decided I wanted to be a professional seamstress (yea right!) I started finding some fun blogs to follow and get inspiration from. I can't believe how

many talented people are out there!

One of those talented people was Ashley at Make It and Love it. I quickly tagged her in my RSS feeder and became obsessed. Her ideas are so cute! One of those cute (and very simple) ideas was this bath toy bag. And it couldn't have come at a better time since Little Miss B's bath toys were overflowing from the bathtub and we needed to make sure those toys were in one spot.

So as one of my first sewing projects, I gathered up all the materials. I'm not very frugal yet when it comes to my crafting, so I picked up all my materials at my local Joann's Fabric Store. The light mesh was like $2! And the ribbons came to about $5. It was definitely cheap but I'm sure I could have found it a little bit cheaper.

I rushed home and within an hour I had this:

I had so much fabric I was able to make 2. This one ended up being our bath toy bag...

and this one is perfect for the pool and beach!

Super cute and oh, so easy!!
