i'm trying to enjoy the free time that i have as much as possible before the little one arrives, so i'm attempting to update the blog as much as possible/everyday. we'll see how long this lasts.
the past couple days have been some of the most uncomfortable of the pregnancy for me. it's hard for me to find a comfortable position to get into and at all times of the day, it feels like the baby is trying to push her way out of my stomach. and when i eat, it's like there is no where for the food to go. so it just makes the uncomfortableness even worse.
my friend dee, recently had her little baby boy and recommended baby center to help track our baby's development and such. as of this week, it says...
"Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb."
pretty amazing.
we're currently trying to narrow down baby names. we've already decided that we'll wait til we officially meet her to pick the official name but so far i think we're down to the final three... however every time we brainstorm, the list seems to change a bit. we also decided that all of our babies will have a middle name named after someone/something special/influential in our lives. we think it's nice way to incorporate meaning into the children's names. any suggestions? let us know =)
