sophie, rolly polly and other family news.

mini me got a sweet little box last week from my old bosses and coworkers at DLS in honolulu with the most adorable hawaiian dresses and bright toys to keep her busy. among them was princess sophie
and i don't know what it is about sophie, but little b LOVES her. we think it has to do with bright colors and the crinkly noise that her skirt makes, but that's besides the point. anytime we put sophie in front of her we get big, big smiles and laughs. i love it.

here she is being introduced to sophie:

totally, totally cute.

in other baby news, mini B rolled over today! i had her on the floor and i watched as she rolled from her back to her tummy! i've been telling the husband that it's only a matter of time before she's on the go, since she's been pulling up her legs and rolling on her side and sure enough, today she flipped over, looked up at me and gave me the cutest, most naughtiest smile! as though she were telling me, haha there's no stopping me now!

things have been stressful in the house as we plan ahead and try and get every fine detail worked out in our 1-2 year plan. i just got into MT school and am juggling that with mommyhood. and pretty soon, I'll be starting a part-time job. that's right, i'm headed back into the workforce! as hard as it will be for me to be away from the baby, it'll be such a relief for us as it will take some of the pressure off of the hubby and hopefully (we're keeping our fingers crossed) give us the opportunity to buy a house if not by the end of this year, hopefully the next! YAY!

we're praying that things continue to work out the way they are meant to and feel so fortunate for all those that are helping us out along the way. we love you all!

  1. That is too cute about Princess Sophie! She is definitely a beautiful little one and her smiles are very precious!

What is MT? I'm sure going back to work is going to be hard (I dread it after giving birth), but I'm sure you'll be blessed knowing you're helping the family in a new way.

    Much love!

MT school? school...yuck! That does not sound like fun! :(

Back to work...you poor thing I hear it is so hard to leave little ones once you have been home with them. But helping out the hubby & getting a house are good things!
